Smallest Compression Load Cell FC8E offers 50N / 100N / 200N / 500N four rated capacities to choose from. Smallest load cell FC8E is featured with only 8mm outer diameter and 6mm total height which makes it extremely suitable for force measurement applications with limited mounting space.Typical applications for transducer FC8E are such as clamping force measuremen,force overload protection, load distribution analysis, pressing die force measurement, auto equipment, assembly line and so on.

Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FC8E-200N with 0.9mV/V power by 5V DC,the output range is 0~4.5mV proportional to the applied force.
Example two: FC8E-100N with 1.0mV/V power by 3.3V DC,the output range is 0~3.3mV proportional to the applied force.

Load cell + Signal amplifier:
Load sensor normally outputs 0...+30mV which sometimes can hardly be processed directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Smallest Button Load Cell FC8E-500N working with amplifier FSC(0-5V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-500N load VS 0-5V output, 1V voltage corresponds to 100N load, 2V voltage corresponds to 200N force,and so on.
