A force sensor is a transducer that converts force acting on it into electronic signal which is proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply,the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell. Miniature Push And Pull Load Cell FSSM is designed to measure force in both tension and compression direction,outputs millivolt signal ranging -30~30mV, and signal amplification may be required for most applications, a load cell signal conditioner can be used to get -5-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA signal proportional to applied force. Power supply of Miniature Push Pull Force Sensor FSSM is normally within 3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Micro Tension Load Cell FSSM is normally within -24mV...+24mV for tension/compression force measurement.
Example: Miniature Push Pull Load Cell FSSM-10N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV.

A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.

Example: Miniature Force Load Cell FSSM-20N working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-20N compression load VS 0-10V output,0-20N tension load VS 0-(-10V) output,when you get 5V output,it means the current load is 10N compression force,when you get -1V output,it means the current load is 2N tension force,and so on.
